Exactly. What is it with all this "settling" or "not settling" framing? Such a toxic way to look at it. The center of marriage is coming to terms with your own weaknesses and differences with your spouse. Hopefully you both come through it happier and stronger but obviously it doesn't always work out, that's life. All these "don't settle" articles come across as very emotionally immature. If you don't want to get married great but why are they always whining about it?
