Great article. It seems impossible to know the actual losses and strength of the opposing armies from the available information. However we can sometimes see the results on the ground that reflect reality. Pro-Russian commentators have been insisting Russia has air superiority, naval superiority, at least a 3:1 manpower advantage, a huge armored advantage, up to 10:1 artillery advantage. Yet they are struggling to take one or two small towns rather than blitzing into Kyiv so I think we can deduce the Russians don't have the capacity their boosters insist they have.
