I'm pretty sure Zelensky understands the political climate and made reasonable choices. Russia is a bully and wants to dominate others. They literally invaded Ukraine with 200000 troops. Zelensky could have bowed down to the bully but he chose to fight, the people are behind him, and he has significant international support. Zelensky and Ukraine rather than being delusional they have been doing pretty well considering the situation. Luckily some other countries don't believe in might is right as you do and offered substantial help.
