In what sense? After their initial successes they have been pushed out of northern Ukraine, Kharkiv, Kherson, they have never established complete control over the Black Sea or the established air superiority strangely as they are supposed to be the military superpower fighting on their literal border. They took over 10 months to take over one little town in the Donbas at the cost of untold casualties. So many able body men have fled the country they had to resort to conscripting prisoners. I'm not seeing a steamroller. The Vietnamese pushed out the French and the Americans and even later the Chinese. Afghans pushed out the Russians and the Americans. The Iraqis pushed out the Americans. None of these countries had the level of resources or support Ukraine has so I don't see why we would automatically assume the Ukrainians can not push the Russians out of their territory.
