Old man here. Was life ever easy? Were dating and relationships ever easy? Some things are different and more difficult but some things seem better from my perspective. But most of it is very similar. You liked someone, they didn't like you back. Your relationship was great then it wasn't. You thought you were giving too much and then you heard your partner thought the same. You were lonely. You had too many options. Is it really that different?
