The American armed forces aren't even directly involved so they can't be "defeated". They were just technically actually defeated in Iraq and Afghanistan but they didn't "collapse". Pro-Russian propagandists keep saying Ukraine is about to collapse but it doesn't happen and we are almost a year and a half in. By your logic if Russia had the means to change the situation they would have ergo they are about to fall apart? LOL!
