This also sounds good but there is a problem. Miners provide the computer power to make the transactions to make the network work. They do this so they can be rewarded with Bitcoins. When the 21 million limit is reached they won't receive bitcoins anymore and the miners won't get rewarded. Why will they continue to provide the processing power to keep the network going? Crypto evangelists claim they will do it for transaction fees or maybe bitcoin will 'evolve'. Or maybe the value of bitcoin will plummet, the network will fall apart, and it will be a joke like Myspace.
