This is a naive pipe dream rather than a realistic projection. Terms like "highly likely" and "entirely possible" don't cut it. When it is approaching realistic it will be apparent, and it is not. With Global Warming being such an imminent danger it seems prudent to provide the energy needed by not burning fossil fuels. Despite the problems with nuclear power, it is the most certain source of significant stable energy. There are also other problems like being reliant on less than savory regimes for fossil fuels when renewables don't deliver on their promise. Rather than accusing others of lacking common sense it would be more persuasive to show proof that undeniably, 100%, without any doubt, that renewables will reliably provide enough power for the world. But I read "some people say" , "it may even be feasible" and other generalities.
