Yes, I have no idea how to address it. I'm already worried about my daughter and she is only 10! I have several good younger Japanese female friends who moved to Europe and their careers took off because they were so smart but underutilized in Japan. And vice versa, I have a couple Japanese female friends who moved back to Japan after getting amazing qualifications and experience overseas and they are just not utilized at all. Maybe if a high profile Japanese woman entrepreneur hits a home run then ideas will shift a bit more?
